Header and Footer or Top / Bottom margins are missing in Word document

I just merged letters and the top and bottom margins are gone. The header and/or footer are missing. How can I add them back?

Answer:

1. In the open document, move the pointer to the top border of any page in the document.
2. Look for the pointer to change to the following:

    

1. Double click when the icon appears to restore the top and bottom margins / headers & footers.
