Inserting an image into an Excel comment may often convey your point better. To have it done, please follow these steps:
1- Select on cell Right Click ðInset Comment ð
3- In the Format Comment dialog
box, switch to the Colors
and Lines tab, open the Color drop down
list, and click Fill Effects:
4- In the Fill Effect dialog
box, go to the Picture tab, click the Select Picture button,
locate the desired image, select it and click Open. This will show
the picture preview in the comment.
If you want to Lock picture
aspect ratio, select the corresponding checkbox like shown in the
screenshot below:
5-Click OK twice to close
both dialogs

embedded into the comment and will show up when you hover over the cell:
