Windows Explorer in Windows 11 has a tendency to automatically convert to grouping mode for specific folders (like Downloads).
- Open windows explorer
- Select on Short
- Click on Group by select None
Here's how to disable grouping everywhere by setting this current view as your defaul for all folders.
- Opend windows Explorer click on 3dot dropdown menu
- Select Options
- Select to View tap
- Click Apply to Follders
- Click Apply and Ok
Completed. By now, you out to have eliminated grouped views across your entire system.
